hi.....my dad owned "SAMS GROCERY" on the corner of Bradford & Hegeman.....I went to PS213..Gershwin...Jefferson...then moved and graduated from Canarsie High 68......Who remembers: NINO's PIZZA > BRESSNERS > BILTMORE THEATRE > LOU OREL HARDWARE >
LINDEN GENERAL HOSPITAL > YWHA > ABE's GROCERY > MOISHE THE SHOEMAKER > BRODSKY'S CANDY STORE..etc.etc.
