: : linda i remember you very well. i lived 767 miller avenue, corner of hegeman. my grandfather was hyman mirsky and he owned alot of the buildings on the block. i see ellen steinhouse all the time. she works at Fox's clothing store in mineola. i saw eddie pearlstein many years ago at a reunion. he's kind of bald and he came with his wife to the party. i think they live in queens. i too would love to find arthur zachary, michael foster and eddie mandalstein. i saw mendy when i saw eddie pealstein. he was married to an oriental girl then. i have heard that they are divorced since then. i wrote to abby goldenberg. he's on this site, if you check you will see his message. he did not remember me, but i remembered him. i'm married and have a 28 year old daughter, unmarried. i was a teacher for a while in canarsie, but now i am a lawyer and i work in supreme court in nassau county.

Read with interest your postings about East NY. I am looking for Oxer or Okser or Ochser in doing my family history. I see someone by the name of Lewis Okser. Can you tell me where to find him?
My background is similar. I grew up near Ebbetts field and Prospect Park. I could substitute the names from my neighborhood and have the same conversation about old friends and where they are now. I had friends from your neighborhood who went to Brooklyn Tech with me in the late 50's.
Any info is appreciated. Have fun!!
