I went through the juniors, inters and seniors in the 1950s at HES Camp on Lake Stahahe and have fond memories of the camp, Rabbi Landsman, George (camp director), Bob Waldbaum, Stan Fudim and all the other counselors, life guards, etc. I don't have good memories of the pile of suitecases in the gym at the HES, on Sutter Ave, after the three weeks were over.
