Mrs. Gunther 4th grade (a holy terror)
Miss Shoemaker 5th grade
Mrs. Kessock 6th grade (spoke beautiful French)

I remember the safety squad that served as student crossing guards. I also remember going to Prospect Park to do a Maypole dance for Brooklyn-Queens Day. That was fun (NOT!).

What was the name of the female teacher who walked with a cane (or a bad limp) after smashing up her white convertible on Wortman and Van Siclen Avenues?
(Was it a Mrs. Douglas or something?)
